Integrated body movement – both front and back, head first entry, body rotation as it relates to strokes, and freestyle. Class prepares children for moderate swim strokes.

What To Bring:

• Goggles
• Swimsuit and towel

Class Content:

• Bilateral breathing (every third pull)
• Surface dives
• Stroke drills
• Survival float
• Proper kicking (flutter and dolphin)
• Head-first entry
• Backstroke introduction
• Freestyle
• Water safety skills

Exit Skills:

1. Survival float for 30 seconds
2. Kneeling surface dive
3. Flutter kick front and back 10 Metres
4. Side glide full rotation on back three times
5. Freestyle 10 metres with side breathing
